I have small prob with the diesel train I can't start them.
And to finish I want to know if he exist some fan website for dl new route and new train.

What type of loco you can't start? SN61 or SM42? If SM42 the sequence is shift+m (main switch) shift+x (engine) shift+c (compressor), it SN61 shift+d (go forward), "+" from numeric keyboard  then shift+m

Oh, you mean "route" :)

Routes are mainly developed using Windows Notepad. There is no English manual on how to develop routes I think. It's quite complicated I think, because you cannot use a WYSIWYG editor to plan routes.

Hello!

I'm not a specialist in matter of creating routes - I try to understand this since several days. However, I can answer you a bit...

1. First you need to have an idea, a plan, a design, how it should look like. You can paint it with pencil or use a real map. You must exactly know what you want to get. This is the most important part.

2. Some people use 3D graphics softwere like 3dmax or gmax to create the vectors part of scenery. I'm not deep in this, I don't know details. With this softare you can enter routes, render previews and correct details.

3. Then, some special scripts are used to geneate the .scn files that are used by the simulator. There's no a way back. From this point, all other corrections are done in Notepad or other text editor. You must know how the commands are built, what is where in files. All the events are written manually.

4. To view the results, you can use the Szopa Track Viewer, also called STV. It shows tracks, tractions and many parametrers, but not all. It cannot be used for editing - you edit files with text editor and reload data to STV.

5. Beside the vectors and events, you need also models of buildings, tranis, cars, etc. and textures for them. You need to make a lot of photos and convert them into usable textures.

6. There's a lot of corrections needed. Usualy it takes half year to several years to make something sensible. You need to put a lot of time and work. Many people who start a own route, did not finish it due to diffuculty of the process.


I hope this helps. If you have a good idea, some spare years and you really want to learn a lot and do own route against all difficulties - please do it. Oterwise - forget it at the start.

The splint has 20cm height (0.2 value), so you need to modify the entry like:

Was not good if I modify it -0,2 , the game is out of order then. Windows observed a mistake, ceases because of this. I receive this error message.

The error must be in other place, the ZwrP34R300.inc file has following parametrers described inside it:

kat - angle

I seen only descriptions in Polish, if there was some in other languages, they seem to be lost.

Sorry, the text is hardly understandable and probably nobody understood, what you are asking for.

If you would like to add behaviour to a dynamic model, the best way is to make a copy of similar one and modify a bit.

There's no description what the CHK parameters mean, at least I haven't found one.

AFAIK this one was not released yet - will be some later. The only night-like one is Quark-night, that you can download from this link (you need the recent whole pack 2006):

Currently the Simulator has no ability to simulate rain nor snow. The fog is possible by particular atmo entries (but this is only one setting for whole scenery).

We have got some problem with our new locomotive modell.

Is for us an M46 type our Hungarian engine model, which is almost full-fledged,. The model prepared in 3D Studio Max. The T3D converter name I opened it with a program, that convert .t3d format. After the opening the program the successor announces this:


"--Unknown property:"ambient" in #Multi/Sub-Object:Material #156(Standard:7-Default, Standard:1-Default"

I would like to ask help, what it is necessary to make with him in order to work how. What may be the problem?

Or, the simplest way is to use:

Especially, when you insert the model by hand in Notepad. The -1 value means 2000 meters and is maximal distance the model is seen.

You need to give right names for wheels (wheel01, wheel02, etc.). Then you need to set pivots for this wheels in 3ds max.

If you downloaded the cab, for example eu07-150, you can turn on the lights by the ':' sign on your keyboard  (shift + ;)
Mostly the lights of manometers are in the package with the cabs, but not in all of them.

I guess You're having problem with the newest package of MaSzyna (called PC2009). There is a known problem with ATi video cards (it should be mentioned here (http://eu07.pl/forum/index.php/topic,15503.0.html) as it is in the polish part of the forum) connected with dds graphics format. Codemasters :) are still fighting (that's good term) with it. The only help I can suggest for You now is to convert MaSzyna graphics from dds to tga using @Mariusz1970's MS Excel tool (it can be found here (http://eu07.pl/forum/index.php/topic,10988.0.html)). The tool is called "Dostosuj_do_tga" and can be found in menu "narzędzia różne" at position 17. For any additional help write here :)

That's ok. Images from .dds to .tga and all entries from .dds to .tga (in .t3d, .scn, .scm, .inc files). You have to change the value in eu07.ini file from
defaultext dds
to
defaultext tga
also.

Have You changed entries from dds to tga? I've forgotten, that it is needed to make vertical flip for each texture also (but it causes just wrong display, not being all white). I hope that
I rewrote it EU07.ini in a file .tga
is just writing error (there should be no dot in this entry).

I 3ds max I am useful, but SPT building up an orbit would be much better!

I thought you were looking for the scenery editor. For now to make locomotives, cabs and cars models we use 3D Studio Max. And its not gonna change in the near future, coz this programs satisfy our needs. There are other more important things to do.

Hello

I will be ready with the transliteration of the whole game soon (dds to tga), and all of the structures accross he is converted already. The game functions properly, a couple of structures are missing already because.
This is a little bit difficult to understand properly. So just for clear: there are two packages numbered by year 2010 - with tga and dds graphics. They are equal (small difference in exe file version, the dds package contains newer exe file for the dds support on ATi and Intel cards). Any conversion is unneeded. Package 2009 is outdated.

PS. Can You write here texts also in Hungarian? Maybe direct translation Hungarian - Polish will be useful to understand some phrases correctly.
