I recently downloaded the latest version, and this simulator is getting more and more realistic, I love it! I love very much the interactive handling of the cab controls.
I've started studying more in depth all the various locos, but that's not easy, because everything is in Polish.
Is there somewhere a collection of drawings/pictures of the various cabs of the locos in the sim, with annotated English text indicating what all the simulated switches/lights are? It's so frustrating when some light starts to glow and I don't know what it means, or when I have no idea what a switch will do...
Thanks,
Cristian

Not that I know of. In the simulation, you can get the little annotation bubble to tell you what the switches are (in the mouse operation mode, ALT key toggles it on and off). Not sure if it works on the lamps though :/
The main ones you need to know are:Bateria = BatteryPantograf = PantographPrzetwornica = ConverterSprężarka / Kompresor = CompressorWyłącznik Szybki / Wyłącznik Główny = Main Circuit Breaker
Other than that, the English documentation should be relatively up-to-date

Language set in eu07.ini file should affect labels of the switches when hovered over in mouse control mode. Lights doesn't have them thou.
-
Thank you.
Setting the language to English actually does not affect the mouse-over text, it stays in Polish...

It definitely should. In eu07.ini set:

It's included in that pack and already present on both new scenerios Bałtyk SKM. Check owned vehicles in Rainsted if you don't see them on the list of aviable vehicles. It should be generated at first startup, but maybe someone pushed his old list to the pack.

Yes, after the second start i finally have found the Train, thank you very very much

It was Prima Aprillis joke. EN92 will be released in next patch.

Hi guys,
i have question about the opposite cabins for loco types like SP-42-210 in Calkovo line. When i have to move to the opposite cabin there is nothing there- just windows, no driving aids. My question is is this some problem with all the models, or may be my installation isn`t correct, or may be i have to operate the loco from the first cab but reversed? Do the real locos have opposite cabin?
-
I can see only one cab in SP42.

Only 6Dg and WMB10 have cabins to change. For Sx42 you only change directrion.
-
I can see only one cab in SP42.
I know the cabin is just one, what have in mind is that there is just one control panel in the loco and when you want to drive in the opposite direction you are not moving to the opposite control panel but just driving from the same but reversed.
-
For Sx42 you have to click twice Home/End. If you click once, it will only bring you outside, to the front of the loco.
-
The "cab change" in single cab vehicles work similarly to how it works in other vehicles -- pressing Home/End moves you from the cab to engine compartment, which in such case is still the same cab. Then pressing it again moves you to the "opposite end cab" which is still the same cab, but you're typically placed on the other side of it (there's usually another seat in the cab for this) and reverser lever works in opposite manner, i.e. when set to "forward" the vehicle will move towards what up to this point was its rear.

Hey guys, my question is is it normal for these type of loco`s to have driving aids (break, throttle, speedometer) only in the one side of the cabin like in the picture? Because we don`t have such in Bulgaria - we have these driving aids from both sides of the cabin in our 55 series shunting loco`s.
-
For Sx42 and SM48 is normal.
-
The main control wheel is at the both sides of the cabin, it controls throttle and (only loco) brakes. There is also czuwak light so you can see it. I guess that was deemed good enough for shunting use. For normal train use I think there used to be two drivers (driver+helper), one on the right and one on the left (because of bad visibility). At least before 1991.
