Most of sceneries for MaSzyna were created on
3ds Max, equiped with scripts dedicated for MaSzyna.
Rainsted has build-in two scenery editors, one based on text files and the second on binary file. The former (accessed from
Debugger tab) is very limited and can mostly move a group of obiects by a vector or rotate them. The latter (RSF one) has some advanced functions for overhead lines, however they still need more work to be complete.
AFAIK, half of the overhead lines on Quark (Koniewice – Bruchniewo – Wielki Kac Dolny – Mydelniczka – Skwarki and Skwarki – Wielki Kac) were created only by using Excel and Notepad. Also, the new overhead line for TD was calculated using PHP script, dedicated for this task.
