I have GF2 MX440 graphic card.

I have installed the lastest version of nVidia driver, and I get the virtual memory take up to 800 MB (i hope...)

But the original Quark scenery works with 4-5 FPS. Other sceneries run smoothly. What's the problem. I have 2 GHz processor, so my computer is perhaps good for the game.

Please help me, cos I like to try this scenery, too.

THX for help. Greets.

Unfortunately, current project's graphics engine is unoptimizable, so the only way to get higher FPS from Quark scenery is to comment out less important vehicles / trains in quarkmce.scn file.

Nebula based project will be solution to this problem.

That's a commonly reported bug. The Quark scenery is the most complicated one - there are computer-driven trains, cars and automatic railway signals. All this causes that this scenery doesn't run smoothly.

There is a 'trick" that will enhance performance in the Quark scenery a bit. Open the quarkmce.scn file in Notepad, search for the word "przeszkadzajki". It should be at the end of the file, right after the trainset strings. Now, delete everything after the word "przeszkadzajki". After this your file should end with 'endtrainset' statement. If you're unsure, backup the original quarkmce.scn file.
