Sceneria w 3ds Max - niewyjaśnione kwestie

Dzięki Ra za wyjaśnienie. Idąc tym tropem to powinno się też teren generować do t3d, prawda?
Zrobiłem tak jak pisał Szczawik. Tzn. wyeksportowałem zaznaczony plik do t3d. Niestety ten jest pusty.

Nie, powinno być jedno node dla trójkątów mających tę samą teksturę. Kiedyś przerabiałem w ten sposób bramki, ale mi je gdzieś wcięło. Przykład zrobiony z podsypki rozjazdu:

Czyli sprowadzenie do jednego node nie jest równoważne eksportowi modelu do t3d? Pytanie brzmi: czy ten sposób opisany przez Ciebie robić tylko i wyłącznie z poziomu notatnika czy można to zrobić z poziomu maxa?
