Just to let you know... I discovered what the problem was (it took me almost six months 
) : i kept spaces into the filename of the scenery... now it works, and i must say that the SU45 is great

Excellent! Maybe it is possible to have the sources or whatever is needed to translate it from english to italian? I think I can do it myself... let me know ;)
EDIT: i've seen that the package includes the language INIs... i'll see what i can do to translate them, and eventually, I'll let you know ;)

EDIT2: i didn't know what to to do, so, in the meantime, i've made a preliminary translation, though i could't understand some parts completely; however, most of the work should be done. Later, i will update it, maybe. For now, here it is (you can include it in your release):
PS: in the english translation there are some errors and some parts are not very comprehensible; i will try to fix them and then post the corrected file.

I did everithing correctly, I guess that something got messed up with my Maszyna... I'm going to reinstall everything from scratch and try to get it working :)

Concerning the lost cars, I've had that in earlier versions as well, so I don't think it's specific to the latest patch.
I guess it is a problem introduced with the modified executables, it did never happen (at least to me) with the Eu07 "megapack" (the one you linked here) exe... anyway the only time it caused problems was in the "SRD18" scenery, the one with the IC train, where the upcoming train loses some wagons on the switches and if the player train starts, it crashes on them; I suggest to keep both executables, the old one (of the pack) and the new one :)

Sorry, I typed it by hand and i mistakenly wrote it in lower case... in the dynamic.dat i have SU45...
The loco seems to be correctly recognized by the program, but if I start any scenery wich uses it... everything crashes :)

just to make this post more complete: http://www.eu07.pl/~kurs90/patch.rar should be the latest patch wich introduces batteries (J) and makes the brake release sequence faster (thanks Ra for notyifing me about this)
Though, it seems to introduce some bugs, such as AI trains losing wagons (!) and maszyna crashing in some occasions.

Hello!
I have downloaded the SU45 vol2, but I have a problem... I've updated the dynamic.dat with the
I then copied the loco string into an Scn, such as this
in Testowo2;
the loco seems to be recognized by the program (it's side-view appears in the consist visualization), but if I start the scenery i get these errors:
"program usage: EU07 [-s sceneryfilepath] [-v vehiclename], "player train doesn't exist", and then the send don't send windows error...
I'm using this build of EU07: http://www.eu07.pl/~kurs90/patch.rar ...
I can't understand what is wrong... what do these errors depend from, usually?

Ok Ra, let's put our hopes in SPT, then :)
Anyway, if you want some (great) simulated italian routes, and if this is okay, you can check trenomania... there is a lot of Italian scenery and rolling stock for Train Simulator, some routes are very long, like Florence - Milan or Florence - Rome - Naples...
To reach the downolads, cilk the "2" sign, then you can access the english version of the site with the uk flag at the bottom of the page.
If you need anything about Italian signalling and such just ask and I'll gladly try to help

the funny thingh is that I've seen them opened once... i don't know how i did... perhaps, now that i think about it, i set the autopilot to on and they opened automatically somehow... i really don't know...

the SU 45 is 6 axis, 6 motors version of the italian D445. They both have the same FIAT motors
I would like to ask you a question, though it is a bit off topic: are there any push-pull able locos and the relative driving vans in Poland? I'm not talking about EMUs, but trains wich can reverse their direction by changing cab, from the loco to the driving carriage at the other end of the train, like this:
at the other end of the train there is the loco pushing it :)

Tof you are right, but mazsyna has been around for a long time... and almost no attempt to get it known outside poland has been made, (this is my impression), or according to the previous posts at least sice some time, making it, as has been said, a highly polish centralized, local reality... And this is (I'll never stop repeating myself) a real shame, if I think about the high potential it has... Still, we have to consider that the new STP is under development, and I'm not sure about how many content creators are interested in translating the documentation because of this or the lack of interest in doing so...
Anyway I respect whoever is creating anything, because is keeping this great sim alive, wich is a really good thing :)

but... could it be that the build of EU07.exe that i used is too old? I discovered (today) thate there are some exe updates out there, maybe this was an issue in older version and in the meantime the thing has been fixed...?

It seems that the registration procedure has changed... If you like, I suggest you to update the post, i had some minor difficulties during the registration (because of the little differences) ... I also suggest you to write how to set the english language pack, it took me a while (and an online polish translator :) ) to understand that I had to type my pwd into the textbox to apply the profile changes...

After seeing Tof's layout pictures, I think that our friend eu07_304 has mixed things up a bit:
in fact: shift + < is ">" and shift + > doesn't exist... because > is already shift + < ! ;)
I once tried the < > keys (in fact i think I tried every possible key combination wih shift + "key") some time ago but they didn't work... i could still, as i said, opend the left doors with ";" and close them with "," , thus i managed to open the left ones once, but i don't know how i did that...
Hope someone can help me. :)

i guess that the polish keyboard layout is different from the italian one... In fact i open left doors with ";" and I close them with ","... "<" and ">" doesn't work... I guess I'll have to find their equivalents on the IT keyboard ...

Hello to everyone! I'm writing you from Italy, and I've recently discovered this fantastic simulator. I finally decided to register and I hope I can write here often :).
I totally agree with Greeno Zee: i think too that the lack of non polish users is because there is no english documentation and support available for EU07... and I think that this is a real shame...
I also think that Maszyna has a lot of unexpressed potential... The only more realistic thing I have ever seen is our "Simulatore Treno 4.01" (except for graphics) or maybe zusi simulator (thus i have never tried it), plus it's free! Bve maybe has better graphics, but Eu07 is far superior concerning the driving section...
In my opinion we could do a lot of interesting italian rolling stock, considering the technical similarities (braking system, 3kv, rheostatic type locos, ecc), but the limits are in fact the language, the lack of documentation and of maybe even a easier way of editing the contents (eg a front end editor ecc)
Bve was like Mazsyna at it's beginnings, but a lot of english documentation has been published, making it more popular among developers and users, but unfortunately this has not happened with Mazsyna, leaving almost unknown outside Poland, and, i repeat, this is a real shame... I just can't imagine what could come out of it!!
A good start maybe would be to release contents with multilingual English/Polish documentation, so one may understand what he has to do in the scenario or at least it's issues or if there are particular procedures to follow etc etc
Another bad thing is that (as far as i have understood) MaSzyna development has stopped... what is it's successor's (nebula) status?
Anyway, I (and others) have really appreciated this excellent simulator, and I'm (we) are doing a little part in getting it more known by translating the operations guide in Italian, on trenomania (more precisely at this page... if you want to drop by there is a foreign users section, and you can download some of the excellent italian material for TS if you like ;); i really hope for a better future for MaSzyna...
