Hi!
I've made subtitles in Italian for Maszyna 15.04.
http://eu07.pl/userfiles/24263/test-Italian_subtitles.rar
I hope I didn't make mistakes uploading this file.
Bye!

Hi,
Since we were required to delete our files if possible and since mine were probably not that important, I deleted the RAR above.
I don't know if anybody will find this useful, being something for a language not many of EU07 users speak and for a version of the simulator that possibly no one still uses, but anyway, I hate things being lost, so here it is:

Those subs were added to main pack years ago. And text files have such minimal weight, that you didn't had to delete it.
-
I just had a couple on files on this forum, and this was probably the largest. Yes, even though it's just a bunch of TXTs.
Didn't know they were eventually added. I understood they weren't because nobody could check them.
-
I have 169 files on repository so there's more. Could you sort them by scenery subfolder? Or add them to poeditor project https://eu07.pl/forum/index.php/topic,31983.msg518078.html#msg518078 but sorting manualy seems much easier. You can filter out those already added to 20.04 pack so there will be only a few to sort out.

Hi, I'm new, I came across this simulator that I find very amusing unlike other more famous and paid ones.
I have a problem, indeed several problems, but here I expose this one related to subtitles.
I have the latest version of the sim the one that starts with the starter. I noticed that inside the sounds folder, there is the subfolder Radiotelefon and inside there are all the TXT files including the Italian ones. I changed the lang en string to lang it, but once the sim is opened, subtitles always remain im english.Where am I wrong? thanks

Mayby not all of dialogs have Italian translation?
-
I do not know. I have tried several scenes, no visible translations.

Are you sure that you have lang it in config file? Maybe it got overwritten by launcher program?
You shouldn't see any english subtitles if you have set different language. (which is a problem itself, we probably should fallback to en)
-
the strange thing is that in the eu07.ini file, I change the lang en entry to lang it, but when I start starter and then close, the file is overwritten bringing the lang entry back to en

You shouldn't edit eu07.ini, change the language in the starting program instead.

Then that is probably bug in the launcher. I will report that to the author.
-
do you mean in the starter.ini file?

-
No, change the language in the Starter program itself.
-
forgive me, I am confused, do you say within the program starte once started?
No, change the language in the Starter program itself.
-
Yep.
-
no, within the starter the only selectable languages are:
PL
EN
CZ
Yep.

I will upload the corrected version in about an hour.
-
thank you very kind for your availability

Alright, you can download new version. If you want italian subtitles, change lang parameter (eu07.ini and starter/starter.ini). Additionally, you can translate the Starter program. To do this, create file starter/lang-it.txt and fill it (examaple: lang-en.txt).
-
great, thank you very much

Goodmorning everyone.
I downloaded the new version from the site, installed, modified the eu07.ini file and the starter.ini file, I also compiled a new file with the name lang-it.txt, but not only the starter interface does not change, but the subtitles remain in English.
I'm probably doing something wrong I don't know. But if it is not possible to obtain the Italian language, I will make up my mind. The simulator is a blast, it's a lot of fun and addicting.

Starter hasn't Italian subtitles, I added only support for all languages. If you want Italian subtitles, you must translate file. :)
-
Yes, that's what I did, I created a lang-it.txt file, but the interface doesn't change

Interface of Starter? Did you translate lang-it.txt?
-
SI esatto, ho preso il file lang-en.txt l'ho tradotto e rinominato lang-it.txt.
-
I changed my files, starter/starter.ini and eu07.ini:
lang=it
I created starter/lang-it.txt (from starter/lang-en.txt).
Third line:
lbVersionCaption.Caption=Version:
I replaced for:
lbVersionCaption.Caption=Test

Thank you, I didn't know that the version voice also had to be changed. Now works. I just have to try if the subtitles work, because before they were not even seen, only the voice was heard.
-
I wrote this only for example, it's not required.
-
Ah ok, I changed it, and corrected a couple of words, now it works.

Sorry, I read only now.
Am I doing something wrong or does the link in that thread no longer work?
-
I don't remember paswords for my poeditor account, but as I remember, we had it registered as non comercial project without limitations of free account, so it'd be strange to be deleted in less than a year.
-
I see. Anyway, if someone will manage to make it work, let me know and I'll be glad to write new translations from English to Italian!
